1-2 Mason Court is situated on the edge of Penrith adjacent to the M6/A66 junction 40 interchanges in the Business Park (which also accommodates the Environment Agency, NFU & Cumbrian Homes) opposite North Lakes Hotel
From J40 take the A592 (Ullswater Rd) into Penrith. You will pass North Lakes Hotel on your right. At the mini-roundabout turn left and then take the first turn left into Gillan Way. Once in Gillan Way take the first turn right into Mason Court where you will find our new purpose built offices with signposted client parking immediately to the front.
Situated at 29 Boroughgate, our office is prominently placed in the heart of Appleby on the main thoroughfare through the town centre. Time restricted parking can be found immediately to the front of the office whilst the main pay and display car park, for longer stays, can be found only a short walk away.
From the West:
Appleby is situated approximately 13 miles east of Penrith and lies just off the A66 trans-pennine route. Upon exiting the dual carriageway section of the A66 from the west, bearing left, you will reach a T junction. At the T junction turn left and follow the signs for Appleby town centre. Having passed under the railway bridge you should continue to bear left passed the Grammar School which will be located on your right on Battlebarrow. Continue down Battlebarrow into The Sands where you will find the River Eden to your right. Take the first turning to the right over the river into Bridge Street. Continue to bear left around the corner to enter Boroughgate. You will pass the Moot Hall to your right and we are located half way up Boroughgate on the left.
From the East
(Scotch Corner) : Exit the A66 signposted Appleby. Merge onto the B6542 for approximately 2 miles. Bear right and you will pass the Royal Oak public house on your right and continue up Bongate. Bear left down the hill onto The Sands. As you continue past the bowling green, take the first left over the bridge across the River Eden. Continue to bear left around the corner to enter Boroughgate. You will pass the Moot Hall to your right and we are located half way up Boroughgate on the left.
From the South
(M6) : Appleby is situated approximately 13 miles from Junction 38 of the M6 Motorway. Upon exiting the M6 Northbound, bear left at the roundabout onto the B6260. Continue on this road for approximately 13 miles, through the village of Orton, until you reach Appleby. Upon entering the town’s 20mph zone, with Appleby Castle situated on your right, bear left and continue down Boroughgate. We are situated half way down Boroughgate on the right.
The Kirkby Stephen Office is situate in the heart of this market town and is approached by the A685 from the M6 to the West and the A66 to the East.
